Alicia is a nationally board-certified (NCC) and clinically licensed (LPC/LCPC) counselor in multiple states, with advanced training in assessing and treating mental health concerns in adults, adolescents, and children. She holds a PhD in Counseling and Psychological Studies with a concentration in Biblical Counseling from Regent University, an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College, and a BS in Psychology: Christian Counseling from Liberty University.
With a foundation in Christian integrative counseling and years of experience in lay counseling and inner healing prayer, Alicia is uniquely equipped to serve those seeking Spirit-filled, faith-based mental health care. She has a deep passion for empowering individuals—children, teens, and adults alike—to reach their God-given potential and experience lasting healing.
Alicia’s approach to counseling is rooted in the belief that healing often begins when we remove the internal and spiritual barriers that hinder connection with God, self, and others. She partners with clients on their healing journeys, inviting the Holy Spirit to lead the process. Spirit-led prayer is central to her work, creating space for God-encounters that bring deeper freedom, clarity, and peace.
She works with clients on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:
- Anger management
- Anxiety
- Coping skills
- Depression
- Family conflict
- Grief
- Life transitions
- Parenting
- Pregnancy-related issues (prenatal, postpartum, miscarriage)
- Relationship challenges
- Self-esteem and identity
- Spirituality and faith integration
In addition to her clinical work, Alicia is an author, experienced classroom instructor, and dynamic public speaker. She engages audiences with humor, honesty, and vulnerability, sharing her healing journey to encourage others in theirs. She is known for creating warm, safe environments where people feel seen, heard, and supported as they grow.
She would love to join you on your healing journey if you’re ready to take the next step.
